When asked, “What do you like best about being an orthodontist?,” Dr. O’Grady will tell you it is the look he sees on his patients' faces when they see their amazing results of orthodontic treatment. That is when he knows he has served his patients well!

Born in New York City and raised in Spokane, Washington, Dr. O’Grady received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame, a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina, and a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics from the University of Michigan. As a result, Dr. O’Grady has had the opportunity to receive the finest education and live in many different communities.

What drew Dr. O’Grady to the Grand Rapids area was the strong sense of family values in a community that has a priority on faith, education and service. It was in the Grand Rapids area where Dr. O’Grady met his wife, Brigit, and started a family. They have four children: Maxwell, the twins Lillian and Sawyer, and Eleanor.

When Dr. O’Grady is not in the office, he is at home with his wife and children playing games with the kids, golfing, and water skiing.
